Details:
D'Richelieu du Plessis, known to his family and friends as Ricky, has been involved with Christian music for close to three decades now.
Born Again in 1978 he pursued his love for music by playing electric bands, individual acoustic gigs, leading praise and worship in many churches and conducting concerts and outreaches in various places in Africa, Europe and America.
In these latter years he's been functioning primarily as a singer/songwriter who gathers from his experience "things old" and mixes them with "things new" in compilation packages which hopefully are suited to diverse tastes.

Ricky first visited Israel in 1982 where he spent a few months with a Jerusalem based ministry. There he had the opportunity to experience first hand the golden walls of the ancient city along with the abundance of historic sites in Israel, (which remain to this day as a testament of Godâs dealings with His covenant people); these things had a profound impact upon his life and ministry birthing within him a deep appreciation for the ânaturalâ roots to our Judeo-Christian values drawn from the âCornerstoneâ of our faith.

These songs of pilgrimage, based on the Psalms of Ascent, are designed to strengthen our trust in the Lord and release a love for His ways. Although these Psalms were initially written for the Old Covenant people of Israel, we as the New Creation of God, bring it to a new level.
