The Genre Benders break all the molds in this debut effort. More like a compilation than an album, this CD explores music for true believers - we love it all and play what we love.

No-one is the same all the time; we live all the genres at some stage in our lives. This album plays to that belief and there's more to come.

It's got Blues, Country, Reggae, Pop, Rock, a Lullaby and a song with no music at all ... in the name of expressing who we are and how we live. The oldest song on here was written in 1991 and the newest in 2007.

The Genre Benders are a loose collective of musician, artists and songwriters in Brisbane, Australia. They come together under the leadership of Huge (see www.huge.id.au) to record and perform the way they live. Their live shows feature the same variety of music as the album - but it's deliverd with such eneergy and conviction that you don't notice the variety - it's all good.
