These are some of the ways Glenn Finkâs all-original first release, Hot Stoves Burn, has been described by people who have heard it. Fans trying to describe the sound have used Gordon Lightfoot, the Allman Brothers Band, Cat Stevens, Neil Diamond and Neil Young as benchmarks.

Heavy on acoustic guitars and piano, but also containing the occasional electric guitar or Hammond organ, Hot Stoves Burn has a feel not unlike albums released during the 1970âs by melodic rock bands. About half of the instruments were played by Glenn, with the other half involving friends from previous and present bands.

Glenn Fink is a songwriter and performer in Arlington, VA. Born and raised in the Boston area, Glenn began writing folk and rock-based material after hearing Neil Young perform. He plays piano and acoustic guitar at gigs with his acoustic group, The Black Finks.
