Weâre Highlines a three piece rock band currently based in Los Angeles, California.
Our influences
Include Gin Blossoms, Jimmy Eat World, Better Than Ezraâ¦.etc. The band was formed in early 2006 when Louisiana natives and former bandmates Johnny Clancy and Derek DeBlieux reunited in Los Angeles and began writing new material and recording demos. Soon afterwards San Diego native Danny Prince was added on drums and the band was complete.
We all have separate, crazy, wonderfully chaotic lives and yet we always stay on track with the help of friends, fans, opportunities and the common goal that surrounds us and that is to continue and finish what we have started.
In early 2007 Highlines went into the studio with producer PJ Smith to record their 1st Self Titled Album. It is to be released by the end of May 2007 and the band plans to tour extensively to promote this first album to share their music with the fans. We are learning more and more about this business, each other and our own lives everyday and realize that there is still a long road to travel, but as long as people are listening we will give all we can in the studio, on stage, as people and as a band.
