Hilary Hawke formed Hogzilla from jamming and playing on the bluegrass scene. There she met fellow musicians Mimi, Jacob, Roger and Joe at NYC bars such as The Baggot Inn, Paddy Reilly's, Parkside Lounge...

"I think we all decided that we wanted to create a type of bluegrass music that was more personal, that really reached for the soul, and had more raw energy"-Hawke says of the music the band has been making over the past year.

Recently Hogzilla's fanbase has really taken off due to their consistent residency at local drinking hole, cool bar Bait and Tackle in the up and coming hip area of Red Hook, Brooklyn.
