Infant is a pop rock band based out of Faribault, MN. Infant was formed in August of 2005 when the Lord opened the door for these 4 teens to bring the message of hope through their music.
Soul searching lyrics, tight melody lines and a true heart for Christ as well as the lost and hurting are just some of the things you will find in this amazing band.
Members of the band include 20 year old Chad Roehick playing the drums, 16 year old Alex Anderson playing the lead and rhythm guitar and lead vocal, and 14 year old Tori Anderson playing the keys and singing backup vocals.
Infant is most compared to Barlow Girl and Caitlyn Smith.
Growing up as sisters Tori and I have always had a great love of music. Tori and I started writing
our music sitting around the campfires at our family campsite. The Lord then opened the door for us to meet up with Chad our now drummer. He was skeptical at first because of his past history with a rock band. At first he rejected our invitation but wanted to hear our music. After hearing it he agreed to drum for us. Chad came up with the name Infant because we are all born again Christians and we all start out as infants in Christ. We know we are a young band, but our lyrics and music are well beyond our years.
We are reaching out to people with our positive lyrics. Our music is all originally written by each of the band members. The songs we write are written based on lifeâs situations and struggles of todayâs teenâs and Godâs love for them. Also in our newest song âStand Upâ it says âStand up for who we areâ while âBeing the best we can beâ.
Infant has played such places as:
Hockey Express Team, Sonfest outdoor Festival, Club 3 Degrees, Solid Rock, Traffic Jam, Whatâs Up Lounge, Java Live, Coffee House Live, and the lists gets added to every month!! Infant released their first EP in November 2006, titled âFallingsâ.
