Musical History:In 1999, Drew's first cd of original material, "Swingbatter", was recorded. Drew's second CD "45" followed in 2004.
2001,-Drew Jacobs and Swingbatter made their first appearance on the Nationally Syndicated "Dr. Demento Radio show. The song: Santa Claus is Coming to Rock You, was also in holiday rotation on local radio station WPYX. Since 2004. Drew 's song "Rudolph's On Steroids" has been requested and played annually on The Dr. Demento Show.
In 2006, Drew Jacobs and his Nice Jewish Boys appeared for the first time on the Dr. Demento Show with their song "Where are all the Songs About Chanukah?".
Drew has been performing as a solo acoustic singer/songwriter since 2005.
In Summer 2006, Drew was invited by the Northeast Country Music Association to perform at a Songwriter Roundtable at The Saratoga County Fair.
In 2007, Drew appeared at the Northeast Country Music Association's Songwriter's Showcase.
"Easy Listening For The Hard Of Hearing" is Drew's first official Swingbatter Records Release.
