Classically trained, Lois is equally at home on the concert stage. She has performed in such varied venues as Mexico City, Carnegie Hall, and recently returned from travel abroad, with performances in Vienna, Prague and Budapest.

She has been singing for as far back as she can remember. Even as a little girl, she began imitating her favorite singers and memorizing their songs, to the delight of her parents. She began studying voice in high school and it has been a life-long pursuit. Lois holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Houston.

If you ask her what her favorite music is, she'll tell you jazz, especially the great standards of Ella Fitzgerald, Rosemary Clooney, Peggy Lee and other greats of that era. Satellite and HD radio is bringing it all back to the delight of listeners everywhere and of every age. Who could resist such great music! Lois gets the opportunity to perform the jazz classics when she appears with the Jazzmen Quintet. Jazzmen features her own children: Daughter Karen on Trombone, Laurie on keyboard, son-in-law David on guitar and bass, and son-in-law Keoni on drums.
