My name is Mark Adorni and I am a jazz guitarist from the San Francisco Bay Area. After starting guitar lessons at 10 years old, I was heavily influenced by artists such as The Beatles, Eric Clapton, to George Benson and Peter Frampton. I played with an R&B group called "Odysus" out of high school which featured a full horn section. I later formed a group called "Frontrunner" which was part of the 80's big hair movement! We signed with a publisher named Michael O'Connor Publishing and had heavy interest from Epic, RCA and CBS. Unfortunately the year was 1989 and Nirvanna was on its way and 80's rock was on its way out. It did not help that our lead singer also blew out his voice from years of shredding!! Fast forward to 2007 and here you have it. I have returned to my roots which is jazz and blues. I have written the tunes, played all of the instruments, produced and engineered my entire heart and soul into this CD. I think you will hear that. Even if you are not a jazz fan, put this CD into your home player or car player and your mood will soar! Enjoy!!
