User tags: folk pop, pop piano, mp3 album
This album is lovely lilting poetic pop. It quotes Shakespeare, references Bright Eyes, and uses French.
7 MP3 Songs
FOLK: Folk Pop, POP: Piano
Details:
Liz Ciavolino is a singer-songwriter. She began her musical education in elementary school with piano lessons from her mom. She started studying music more seriously when she began taking harp lessons under Michaela Trnkova at the Peabody Institute Preparatory at age 9.
In middle school, she started experimenting with song-crafting. When she got her lovely black acoustic guitar at age 14, she wrote more. When she was 16, she began playing at local coffee houses and wrote more than ever before.
"Undelivered Letters" is her first release. Liz conjures all her instrumentalist powers to give you songs on harp, piano, and guitar. Joe Avampato adds his snazzy, jazzy drumming. Throw in a guitar solo from Richard Thompson, and you have lovely lilting poetic pop. It quotes Shakespeare, references Bright Eyes, uses French, and already likes you and wants you to buy it. And quite honestly, I do, too.
