This record comes from our desire to make music without compromise, to play exactly what we like, how we like.

We are the "Melody Squad": Melody Castellari (vocals), Antonello Saviozzi (guitars), Rolando Cappanera (drums), Mattia Bigi (bass). "big bagâ is the juice of what we are, of what we love to say and do.

The choice of self production was a necessity because the market doesnât give room to new bands. the major record companies claim that rock doesnât work in Italy... bullshit!?

Tell that to the hundreds of people who come to our gigs and who listen to this kind of music, a music which is usually produced outside our country.

We take full responsibility for pre-production, recording, mixing and mastering of this record, all of which was done and supervised by us alone. our choices reflect our attitude. the equipment used, the calculated lack of digital equipment, a minimum of takes and overdubs, a mix that doesnât only benefit the vocals but creates room for all the instruments as necessary colours in a picture reflecting the original view of the painter...(that is, us)...this is the approach we were searching for when facing this challenge.

This is what we are, from the first song to the last, no contamination, no compromise. We want to play this card because we believe in the "melody squad" project and in itâs potential.
