Canadian tenor, Paul Abelha, is an accomplished and versatile artist. Born in São Miguel Açores, November 28, 1972, Paul is fluent in both English and Portuguese.

Music has always played an important role in his life. After completing studies with the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts in Classic Vocals and Piano, Paul began working privately with Cherry Ann Mendez of Ars Musica. Paul possesses a marvelous three-octave tenor.

Paul Abelha recently made a name for himself as a finalist on Bravo Networkâs critically acclaimed reality television show Bathroom Divas.

Paul Abelha has appeared on Star! Daily, ET Canada, CP24, CityTV News, CHTV News, as well as radio interviews with Bob Bratina and Shiona Thompson of the AM900 CHML morning show. Paul Abelha also appeared on the cover of Hamilton Spectatorâs Go entertainment section along with a feature article. He will soon appear on OMNI TV/RTP Internationalâs Canada Contacto, Bravo! News, and Classical 96.3 FM.

Paul recorded a selection of his favourite arias. His debut album is titled the Black and White Album, launched on Tuesday April 3rd. Paul Abelha has accomplished one of his lifelong dreams by performing with the world renowned Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra. He continues to expand his musical repertoire.
