Shawnte Brannon was born November 22, 1987. She started singing at the age of 4.she lived in Long Beach Ca., then moved to Carson Ca., from Carson Ca. She moved to Riverside County in the rural area of Romoland Ca.

Shawnteâs first time singing in front of an audience is when she joined Friendship Christian Fellowship church she was only 9 yrs old she sang the black national anthem â Lift every voice and singâ, for black history month,
Later she joined the adult choir at 11yrs old and became one of the lead singers. Shawnte then became a member of the praise team she was 13 years old, and is now one of the choir directors. Shawnte always had a dream of singing for the glory of god by reaching the lost across the nation.

Shawnte graduated from Perris Lake High School. In Perris Ca at the age of 17. She song Kelly Clarkson song (A moment like this) she had a standing ovation; she also plans to continue her education by becoming a registered nurse, as well as, an accomplished contemporary gospel singer.

At the age of 19 she recently released her first Album entitled âSo faithfulâ, this 10 cut C.D. includes the hit single I love you more Shawnte is now being nominated by Abundant Harvest Ministries, for âBest new gospel teen artistâ

So faithful is now being played on various radio stations such as: KPRO gospel radio station 1570 AM and Stevie Wonderâs radio station KJLH FM 102.3, and Smooth radio.biz internet radio which can be heard nationally.
