With songwriting that's a little bit quirky, a little dark and a little dancey, and a mood that falls somewhere between Bjork, Feist, a Matisse painting and Blondie, Sparrow is pretty neat-o. Sparrow's silky moody sound consists of sputtering beats, minimalistic bass lines, spacious guitar texture, soothinig rhodes, and a voice and personality that are both as subtle and sensual as they are omnipresent. Although Sparrow was barely formed in Jan of 2007, they just released their debut EP VIEW, and Christine, the primary songwriter just got invited to affiliate with SESAC.
