Mr. Tomislav Rajkovic is a young musician, writer and composer currently residing in Zrenjanin, Serbia.

Songs on this album "Slavenske Price" (Slavic Stories) have all been written and composed by him, with the exception of the song number 3, where he composed the music for the poem written by Serbian poet Mr. Aleksa Santic.

It is rare these days to run across an artist working in traditional Serbian ethno genre creating all new original works.

Most of the time, people choose to orchestrate and record traditional songs, already familiar to the listening public. Mr. Rajkovic has created these works or perhaps, these songs chose him to create them, from scratch.

Arrangements, as you can hear them, have been created in somewhat orchestral fashion. Recordings of these songs also exist in their pure form, guitar, voice and frula but Mr. Rajkovic has chosen to release this album arranged and recorded in a genre of world music.

Ms. Brana Ruzin has lend her considerable vocal talents and gave life to these songs. Thank you.

For the listening public not fluent in Serbian, Bosnian or Croatian, these songs sing mostly of love. They are also deep introspective of the artist and we believe the people that live in Balkans. If there is a significant interest, we may translate these lyrics to English.
