VAN SOLO means go alone. Van Solo is a one and only creation, they bring together a style of music that can best be described as revolutionary in the rock en Español world. With their music they poses an obvious cross over ability.
The Kid (from Puerto Rico) is the lead singer; he drives this band on stage.On base #7 (parents from Belize), brings that style and pocket grove to the stage. On drums Evil E attacks with rage but still with a on point grove and feel. E is bad! The guitar is ruled by cujo. Cujo is a one of a kind guitar player, loud, magical and mesmerizing.
Van Solo has just completed their first full length CD (mixed by Latin Grammy winner BOB ROSA) and are also currently working on a follow up recording. The first CD kicks in with high energy songs like Flaco, La nada and La satisfacción to ballads like Medio Loco and Hermosa. Also songs like Te Veo Ati, Bailando, Trippin', Enamorado and Latino get you up and moving NOW! The First video off the CD was released for the song âBaildandoâ. Van Solo also just completed filming, (doing a cameo) for award winning âRear Windows Productionsâ. Van Solo is also currently working on the music for a TV pilot for SUN DOG POST PRODUCTION.
Van Solo is not just a band they are a family of brothers who have been through it all. Their style of Rock en Español is unique; it has an unmatched edge and attitude. Bottom line; you have to see this band play live!
