Amy Giacone was born in McComb, Mississippi, and has been singing at festivals, fairs, and churches, since the age of two. As a child, she performed on the annual televised Louisiana Lions Club telethon, and in high school, she won the Outstand Choral Student award. In 2005, she received the opportunity to travel to Nashville and record five songs under producers Jim Whitehead and Joe Hunter of Jim and Joe Music, Inc. She released these five songs as an EP entitled âTouched.â The EP sold 200 copies, but this was just a taste of what was to come. Her ultimate goal was to make a full-length album. In 2006, she achieved this goal when she traveled back to Nashville to record 6 more songs. The finished product is an 11 song CD entitled âThe Stronger the Wind.â The CD is truly inspirational and contains songs of encouragement and hope in dealing with the trials and obstacles that life may bring. Giacone feels that she can relate to each and every song as she has faced many obstacles of her own. She was born with an eye condition, which caused blindness at birth. After numerous prayers and operations, she is now blessed with partial vision in her left eye. She is truly grateful for the miracle of sight, and in her live shows, she shares her story with others and offers hope and encouragement in overcoming the obstacles that life may bring.

She lives in Mississippi, but would someday like to move to Nashville.
