Three brothers Dan, Larry and John Modaff, team up for this second original CD with the goal of creating a "how we sound live" feel. The bros formed GE in 1995 when Dan made it back alive from life in Texas. John lives in Kentucky, Dan in Ohio, and Larry in Illinois, but that doesn't keep them from putting together great collections of original electric/folk/country hybrids that feature a fine blend of genetically-related voices. They record at Alphawave Audio studio in Morehead, KY, the biggest little studio in all of Appalachia. No, none of the the bros is "from there," but that's OK.
Band motto: "We may not be perfect, but we are always Good Enough." The band recommends frequent, loud play for best results.
