The time is now! Vancouver born Rockstar 'Jagua' is stalking his prey and getting ready to slaughter. With a personality that has been described as "Larger than Life", His Reggae-injected pop/rock sound is blowing away audiences everywhere. Jagua has the excitement of a 'kid in a candy store' and the extremely talented verses of someone twice his age. With world wide touring experience and many years of recording, his west-coast meets world attitude is like nothing you've ever seen.

At the tender age of 18, Jagua had already toured, recorded and played massive shows with many successful bands but finally made a personal decision to follow his own solo career. Jagua had a brush with success with his first single "Coolin", which provided the soul for his music video that climbed the charts on MuchMusic and Canadian radio. With a bright future ahead, Jagua experienced some personal bumps on the road of life which drew him away from focusing on his passion for music.

After a tough 5 years away from music, Jagua was determined to pursue his life goal and dream of being a successful solo artist. He then started recording with Juno award winning artist/producer Chin Injeti, as well as writer/producer Bobbi Muckle. With his ability to sing a variety of different sounds and styles, Jagua spent a few years trying to find himself in music and create his own sound. In doing so, Jagua has managed to impress and captivate many in the Canadian music industry with his talent, including none other than Jim Vallance, the most renowned Canadian song writer.

After recording with new producer Josh Ramsey of Mariana's Trench, Jagua wanted to test the sound he had created by entering in the Vancouver Fox Seeds competition. He finished in the top 10 of over 500 bands. If you don't believe the hype, come see it for yourself, Jagua live at the Telus/Whistler World Ski and Snowboard festival in April of 2007. His powerful music combined with his enthusiasm, passion, and unique talent is going to be a show you do not want to miss!

Jagua has just released a masterpiece album entitled Jungle City, in January 2007, and the buzz is already hitting the streets. Since Jagua has been immersed in the ever growing Canadian music scene he is assembling a talented band of experienced musicians and together they are ready to show the world what this musical phenomenon is all about.
