Killin' Kane was formed by Shawn Kelly and Jeff "FRO" Pietz. Their desire to create original alternative rock music was the engine that drove this rock band. After playing in clubs for years Shawn & Fro emarked on writing and recording their debut cd. Shawn and Jeff worked long and hard on the content and construction of these songs. Finally with the help of some outstanding guest musicians like Scott Schmidt, Rayn Brock, and Frank Massman on bass guitar. Toni Aponti, and Wendy Baker added back up vocals on the cd. Some bass guitar tracks were added by Jeff's then wife Karin to complete the cd.

Killin' Kane's debut cd Are You Able is edgy, intelligent, mystical, hooky and incredibly listenable. Killin' Kane is anxious to hear your response and comments.
