Details:
Craig Kelley has done it again. Proving to be a songwriting machine in the pop rock flavor, he will be releasing his second full length CD on December 31st, 1998.

With the recent success of their debut CD, 'Still Searchin' (1997)', which received raving reviews regionally as well as internationally, the Craig Kelley Band has progressed into a style of their own.

'I think 'Tried & True' has taken us to a different level. We were finally able to capture the energy level in the studio that you get at one of our shows.' -craig

One obvious difference with 'Tried & True' when compared with CKB's Debut CD, 'Still Searchin'' is the absence of an acoustic guitar on the album. One not so obvious difference is that it was recorded in Craig's private studio. It may lack an acoustic guitar but it lacks nothing for punch and quality.

From the opening blood rushing 'Only Man' through the sure fire hit 'Lay It Down' and the Beatles driven 'Words Of Love' to the blues flavored 'Black Betty' and 'Sweet Memory', this is more than a progression. It's a revelation for all that have yet to experience Craig Kelley.

The more you play 'Tried & True'; the more you become energized and intoxicated by it. Maybe after several spins you will notice 'Words of Love', a song derived completely from Beatles' titles.

'There isn't an original word in that song... which made it a bit of a challenge to write!' -craig Apparently, Craig Kelley and his crew fear no challenges. After one listen to 'Tried & True' you will notice why. Great songs, great performances and...a great record.
