For as long as she can remember, singer / songwriter Mary Elizabeth Bell has been singing into hairbrushes, in the shower, and has even participated in the occasional choir or musical theatre production. Always enamored with creative writing, M.E. began composing song lyrics and melodies when she was a wee lass in north St. Louis County. While continuing to write, she also studied dance, theatre, and voice. After shunning her true loves in favor of a more "stable" field of study and subsequently losing a considerable portion of her soul to Corporate America, she finally decided to make an album. Sinfinis is her first project; the debut EP, The Edge of a Knife, is a collection of darkly introspective songs with music that is alternately aggressive and melodic, combined with thought-provoking, often unsettling lyrics.

Josh Feinstein is the composer, engineer, programmer, and producer for the EP, on which he also plays bass and guitar. Josh also performed vocals for "Perfect Surface" and "Legion." He is the founder and owner of Angry Lamb Studios, located in St. Louis, MO and Massapequa Park, NY. Josh has worked with some of the best producers and engineers in the industry, including Andrew Wyatt and Tony Maserati.

Drummer Julian Eubanks performed the percussion tracks for "The Beast," "Perfect Surface," and "Puppets." Julian currently works with other artists in the St. Louis area and has recorded and toured with such acts as genre-bending Pinkeye d'Gekko and country singer/songwriter Candy Coburn.

Landon DeHetre, along with engineer Brian Swiech, composed and recorded music for "Repeat Offender." Tom Brogan contributed to the creative process and performed piano and bass on the track. Brian's mix of the song was very close to completion when a catastrophe forced F.M. Studios in Novi, Michigan to shut down. A new version (which incorporates much of the original) was produced at Angry Lamb for inclusion on The Edge of a Knife. Brian and Landon are in the process of rebuilding F.M. Studios, and have started composing music for a new Sinfinis track.

Mary Elizabeth teamed with her husband, Matthew J. Bell, to co-write the lyrics for "my Strange Birthday."

Sarah Moore lent her voice to "Legion," the intro for "The Beast."
