SlipJig's music comes from the traditions of Ireland, Scotland, and other Celtic lands. It spans a range of styles from high-energy jigs and reels to ancient airs and ballads to raucous pub songs. The wide range of traditional instruments - including fiddles, whistles, guitar, pipes, mandolin, banjo, bodhran and others - combine in a variety of ways for a unique traditional celtic sound.

SlipJig released their first CD, entitled âSo Far â¦â in March, 2007. This CD features the full range of moods and sounds that SlipJig is becoming known for. From hard-driving jigs and reels, to slow soulful airs, SlipJig delivers a unique sound in âSo Farâ¦â.

SlipJig is based in Huntsville, Alabama and has been treating audiences around the Southeastern US to their own blend of traditional Celtic music since 2004.
