This CD, Inspiration, is a song dedicated to my wife Heather. I wrote this song early in our relationship to show how very much I Love her. Later, as we became engaged to be married we decided it would be nice to dance to this wonderful song as our first wedding song. The dance was magical as we listened to Inspiration with all of our friends, relatives, and co-workers present. I was certainly overwhelmed by feelings of happiness and elation as I looked out into the crowd of loved ones and then into the eyes of my beloved Heather. After we danced to a few more songs including Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton, we circulated around the reception and many people applauded the song and my performance asking what I planned to do with it. At that moment I thought I really needed to share this song with others who may want to also dance their first wedding dance to it or simply enjoy listening to it. My best friend, also the best man at the wedding, Dan Fleming painted the cover art in oil and later digitized it for the cd insert. Dan gave us the original painting of this very thougtful rendition of the beautiful autumn evening cruise when I proposed.
