The only guarantee in life is death, and Singer/Songwriter Chris Howe happened to lose a good friend, band-mate, and Union brother. This album is the aftermath of the passing of Tim Keaney (featured on lead guitar on the Floorsâ Enfant Terrible) from lung cancer. First evidence of a shift in songwriting began on 2006âs Catwalks In The Coliseum, whom many believe is the Floorsâ crowning achievement. On âThese Streets Wont Lead You Homeâ, the sadness is quite evident, but there is also a hope and peace to the album. Stylistically all the Floorsâ trademarks are there, but there is also a diversity that hasnât been on display since âCatwalksâ. These streets wont lead you home, but they are definitely worth walking.
