Details:
Clay Hammond has long been part of the music scene. Clay is an original founding member of the Gospel greats "The Mighty Clouds Of joy". After leaving the Clouds Clay ventured into the R&B arena. Having found the R&B market hard to break into, Clay decided his talent as A writer would become his ticket to R&B fame.

It didn't take long for Clay to accomplish his objective as A writer. The classic R&B standard " Part Time Love", recorded by Little Johnny Taylor made Clay Hammond A part of R&B history.

The success as a writer didn't cure Clays desire to break into the R&B market. Clay started recording for some of the well known R & B labels. Clay recorded with producer Leon Haywood, his critically acclaimed "Streets Will Love You To Death" album. "License To Steal" set the tone for some of Clays best R&B works.

Clay's last project, produced by Pete Peterson and Co- produced by Eric "Smidi" Smith, Clay feels is his best out put yet. This project has some thing for every one.
