Iâve been making music for many years with synths and drum computers just for my own pleasure.
Somehow I've always loved monotone and depressive songs very much. Especially 80's related ones with not too much production. I love cheap sounding drum machines and dry mixdowns like those of some bands of the 70's. Basically Iâve been producing music that I wanted to listen to myself but that just was not available.

When I discovered the Iris-CD 'Wrath' last year it meant some kind of ignition to my own productiveness again. At the same time I felt crestfallen because I was quite sure that I would never be able to create such great songs. Coincidentally Iâve had the chance to meet the band at some shows in Germany and after introducing Reagan to some of my songs he asked me what I was waiting for. Since I could not find any pretext I knew what I had to do...

So here it is â my first official release !
Due to some overwhelming response Iâve received from people I would have never expected it from I decided to call it 'Second To None'.
Seriously ironic - at least to some extent.
