Biography
Boom Jay born in Brooklyn NY,has been into music since he was 7 years of age, which was when he learnt how the play the piano.
In high school he headed the choir department for the entire six years and also served as an organist.

Boom Jay started attending studio sessions with his cousin Jide Obi who was a big pop star in the 80âs at the age of 15, which was where he realized that recording songs in a studio setting was possible.
Album/Production Credits:
In 1997 he recorded a 10 track tape âtribute to the worldâ and released it under the Te-Jay Impressions label in Nigeria, and it sold 3,000 tapes in 1 month. The tape continued selling when he left the country for the states.

In 2003, after setting up his own recording studio for production, he released â6ix moreâ, an album that contained 15 tracks all produced by him. The album was released under BoomBoom Entertainments Inc. www.boomboomentertainments.net, and is still on sale at www.cdbaby.com/cd/boomjay.

Boom Jay Produced and Executive produced Black diamondâs album âPrince of the streetsâ which was released by homecityrecords/boomboom entertainments in Europe. Album is still selling online with about 2,300 downloads.

Boom Jay has continued to work with local artists within the Washington metro area, and has also performed in different venues with other local artist.
