Cork is the brainchild of Misty Murphy (see her solo album, circles). Founded in 1996, Cork braved new territory in the timid and tired slc music scene by fusing glam rock and techno. Fronted by two beautiful women, Misty and her partner-in-crime, Daria--Cork always left the crowds yearning for more.
In time, Cork became known more for their glamorous stage shows and making girlfriends and wives jealous than their music. However, one listen and you'll be under their spell. Sadly, Cork is no more, fortunately they left a little piece of history for us to enjoy, called somethingELECTRIC.
