Piano, organ and keyboard player and composer. Selflearned. Starts to play the fisarmonica for fun when 6 years old. At 9 he studies violin for 1 year, at 11 the piano for a year. But itâs the Hammond organ he starts playing at 12, carrying it to clubs and playing covers and rock music. At the same time he gets a diploma in solfeggio and musical theory(1975) and dedicates three years to studying composition. Starts his professional career as organist in the group of Rocky Roberts in 1971.During the 70âs, he meets Toni Esposito and records composes and arranges part of the Albums "Gente Distratta" and "La Banda del Sole". He also begins a period of collaboration with Edoardo Bennato, doing tours and the albums âBurattino senza fili", "Uffa' Uffa'", "Sono Solo Canzonette", "E' arrivato un bastimento". At the beginning of the 80âs he collaborates with Pino Daniele touring and recording the albums: "Pino Daniele" "Nero a meta'" & "Ferry Boat". He also plays with Eugenio Finardi & Crisalide, touring and recording the albums: "Blitz" "Roccando & Rollando".He continues recording with Andrea Mingardi in the album"Canto per te". With spanish singer Lorca: CD "Lorca". Alex Montana & Sautiva: CD "Vertigini". With Avitabile he records the album "Avitabile", Eugenio Bennato & Musica Nova: "Festa Festa" "Canzone per Juzzella" "Don Chisciotte". Teresa De Sio: all tours and all her discography up until "Ombre Rosse". For Teresa he composed and arranged part of the albums "Sindarella Suite" and "Toledo & Regina". In the latter one having the honor and the pleasure of working with the great composer and director Paul Buckmaster. He also plays with Vasco Rossi: cd's "Bollicine" "Che cosa succede in citta'" "Gli Spari Sopra". Eduardo De Crescenzo: tours and the cdâs: "C'e' il sole" "Cantejondo" "Danza Danza""Eduardo De Crescenzo live" "La vita e' un'altra". In 2006 he records for the Hullabaloo label his second CD: "Vintage Hands" coproduced with Musicisti Associati and Max De Virgiliis. Currently he is playing with his "Mediterranean JazzRock4tet" and is also working on a duo cover project: "Hammond Duo" with vocalist Anna Gaia Mariella.
