With the afternoon sun scorching overhead in dusty Fresno, California, thousands of teenagers were on the prowl for music, water and the opposite sex. It was a mess of bottles, cans, fliers and bands at the Vans Warped Tour, and among it all the members of Flywright were experiencing the effects of hometown nostalgia.

Years earlier at a local high school, four teenagers lured their unsuspecting classmates from the halls, penetrating the midday bustle with roaring guitars, thunderous bass and clashing cymbals. Although the band was apprehended for a disturbance during school hours, it was then that Flywright made their smashing debut in the music business.
