Junebug are a power-pop band hailing from North Wales and the Wirral revolving around the song writing talents of brother's Ralph Latham (guitar, vocals) and Guy Latham (bass, keyboards). They were born in Hastings and brought up in North Wales and took up music at an early age. Playing in various bands throughout their teenage years, when their drummer left to go to university they soon met new drummer Warren Gilbert and started creating music together.
Influences include 60's bands (The Beatles, The Beach Boys), punk rock (The Ramones, The Buzzcocks), new wave (Split Enz, XTC) and indie (The Stone Roses, Teenage Fanclub) although they like all sorts of music. They mould all their influences together to create their own sound.
