Since picking up a guitar at age fourteen, Scott Allan Knost has been writing and performing music. Based in Wichita, KS, he has played in various bands that have garnered radio play and opportunities to perform in venues from Wyoming to Kentucky.

For the past year and a half he has struck out on his own, carefully growing a steady fan base, recording his debut CD âDream of Consciousnessâ and performing in every club, coffeehouse, or church he can get into. In 2006 alone, Knost performed 100+ shows in nine states.

2007 looks to provide Knost with even more opportunities to share his music with people. He has a production deal in the works, and is currently working up new songs for a follow up CD.

When asked about his target audience he responds, âI write music about and for the people that refuse to let cognition outweigh hope. Those that live life, experience pain and heartache and still go into every situation brand new. The ones that accept that life is messy sometimes and that itâs okay. Those are the people that âgetâ me.â
