ABOUT US

RooM 11 is a 3 piece Melbourne Rock band made up of Pauli K on vox & Guitar, ALX on vox & bass & Nick Nass on the drums. It is a raw urban sound with sweet melodies, rich in harmonies and vocals, chunky guitars & bass and grooving beats. Room 11's music has a familiarity about it when you listen to their songs yet a unique freshness that can't go unoticed. It can get vary from soft rock to hard rock yet it's always catchy and rocking with that room 11 X factor.

HOW WE MET / FORMED

We have all known each other through High School. Alex advertised for a guitarist and (Pauli K - myself) answered the ad. Alex and I were jamming funk & rock and roll for years with his neighbour on the drums. We then decided to start on a cover project and found Nick through relatives. They were a few weeks into doing cover shows when they started writing originals.Thatâs where it all started for originals and ended for covers. (Paul- Guitar & Vocals) and Alex (Bass & Vocals) got together and started song writing 4 years ago. We have never looked back.

The originals were now the focus. We invited Nick Nass(drummer) in to have a feel of the songs as we had played with him whilst in the cover band. He was our first point of call. The songs flowed very smoothly, the chemistry was evident, the power was raw and the melodies were sweet. Room 11 was born July 2003.

Since then we have played around Melbourne and recorded their first self produced album titled âHigh Expectationsâ. Room 11 hope to officially launch it later this year. Currently we have almost completed material for a second album. Between myself and Alex, we have written around 40 songs and going strong.
