Details:
Gene strasser--has written songs for -Eddy Arnold-Sonny James-Charlie Pride-Billy Walker-Charlie Louvin-Ray Pillow-Wilburn Brothers-Zoot Fenster--Jack Barlow-Ral Donner-Johnny Halliday of France-Dewayne Bowman-and many more-
Dear Little Soldier was his first release nationally and it charted in cash box with a bullet and held a bullet until
the war ended---T.J.Beck jr. check his album on antique for
some great Texas style and Dave Talley of Missouri with
some great songs in his album..I had the honor of writing a few songs for dave talley, but he is such a great writer.
Jim the Slave is a story about the civil war slavery that
hits your heart ---You finally said something good when you
said goodbye---a top ten record for charlie--a number one for Johnny Halliday of France--the Waylon wall written by
Dave Talley is one of my favorite songs. Prisoners of War
is just a salute to all those heroes who have been forgotten especially those for the "battling bastards of battan: captured in the Phillipines in 1941-2--their organization has all my respect. Cell Phone Blues now this song tells it like it is about that cell phone, but who can live without it---Someone Just Stepped on my Heart--love this one---Everytime I see a pig I think of you-just had to
do this Dave Talley song for fun---thanks for listening and if there is anything you don't like --let me know if there is something you like, tell everyone for me--thanks gene
