Details:
Burnedette Faulkner was born in Union County, North Carolina. Her parents, Randolph and Johnnie Faulkner, had 11 children of which she is the 7th child. She currently resides in Mineral Springs, North Carolina, where she attends Thompson AME Zion Church.

Burnedette started singing at age 9; first, in the church choir, then as a soloist, and, most recently, as a member of The Faulkner Sisters and Brother June. The Faulkner Sisters and Brother June has performed for the likes of the great John P. Kee and the living legend, Shirley Caesar.

She considers her greatest accomplishment to be her music. She loves writing songs about Jesus, whom she correctly credits for all her success. The title of the CD, "I Got The Love of Jesus", reflects her nature and spirit. Her joy is all of her children and grandchildren. She prays that her music will be a lasting legacy for them to follow. This CD is long overdue and the world will be truly blessed by God's wonderful gift for us all to enjoy. Say "hello" to the world Burnedette; it is now your stage!

First, I would like to start off by giving thanks to God for giving me the talents that I have. I realize that I would not be or have anything without him. Thanks to my family who supported and encouraged me. I thank and love each and every one of you. Special thanks to my parents Randolph and Johnnie Faulkner. They were called home to be with the Lord, but all the things that they taught and said to me will always be in my heart. They raised me up in the church and taught me, no matter what, to always depend on Jesus. I would like to thank the Faulkner Sisters and Bro. June, my Pastor, and my church family for praying for me. I thank Cookie and Rev. Melvin Bailey for being so kind in lending their talents to this project.
