The Deacon has done it again with his third album titled âThe Sacrifice of Praiseâ! Shifting gears from the previous two albums, this album is totally dedicated to the Lord. It offers the experience of touching heaven and allowing the Lord to hold you and love you. Several songs are inspired by the Holy Spirit, and carry an anointing that cannot be denied. One particular track âA Chosen Manâ has inspired many listeners, as this single has been the first hit from the album. We are involved in a conversation between the Deacon and God as Deacon realizes who he is called to be. The strength that eludes from this track is easily captured into the minds of listeners as they embrace the same sense of being chosen. The identity of being a child of God is spoken to, as the person rises to whom they are called to be.
Another anointed song on the album is âA Fatherâs Blessingâ. Deacon blesses each one of his children on the first, second and third verses of the song. Each individual child is included in his or her verse as Dad blesses them and displays his love for them. A true parental care and love are communicated through the language of song. Wow!
