Agari Productions is a Music Production Team based out of Boston/Tokyo, focusing on Hip Hop/ R&B music. Agari Productions spawned from the band Agari Crew, as a production team working with other artists. Following in the spirit of Motown Records, Agari Productions is an all inclusive, in-house music production team. We seek to develop true artistry from all of our artists. This is why we handle everything in-house, from songwriting/ pre-production, to the recording/mixing/mastering phase, allowing each artist to have control of their expression. While the primary focus is on making Hip Hop albums, Agari Productions seeks to bring a level of musicality back to the the foundation of Hip Hop music, the beats. With the incorporation of live instrumentation, singing, traditional MC-ing, and raw production, the end result is an organic sound and feeling that has been lacking in todays fast paced world of bright lights and shiny packaging. Agari Productions seeks to carve out its own place in the lineage of musicianship, and have a lasting effect on the listeners.
