Original Southern California Rock and Roll, 60's Pop, Tropical, and beyond..from Orange County
5 MP3 Songs
POP: California Pop, ROCK: Americana
Details:
"HEAVEN IN MY HAND", was inspired by the contributions of Leo Fender to the music world. Namely, Telecasters and Stratocasters, with thin blond necks. It has a somewhat tropical flavor, and brings back memories of the cars, pink flamingos, and guitars of the fifties.
"RUNAWAY TRAIN" deals with feelings of right and wrong, in black and white, as emotions run wildly out of control.
"DRIVIN' WITH THE TOP DOWN", is a song about having no love, no limits, and nothing to lose.
"442 COLLINS AVENUE" is a song about a pretty girl, a fast car, and a balmy night in Miami in 1976.
"LOGO", the last song on this collection, was written about my Mom, Ringo, and my Champagne Sparkle Ludwig Drumset.
All of the songs on this EP have been featured on the
American Radio Network, Kalidescope Magazine, and the MOHAWK RADIO SHOW.
Now you can hear CORKY BURNETT & THE GILDER CREEK BAND
