Picture Doris Day ....and now picture Nancy White: wholesome homemaker at one end of the spectrum & funny feminist on the other.

Somewhere in the middle is where you find Jeanette Arsenault - a full time Mom/musician. She writes, records, produces, performs, drives taxi.....to soccer games, piano lessons, recitals....! You know - the usual Mom stuff. And, like all Mom's, she is also an expert juggler.

Wholesome? She writes Christian music, children's music, inspirational/motivational music and patriotic tunes. She writes from her soul and sings from her heart.

Funny? She writes about hardware and studfinders; the great Bloomfield helicopter caper; forgetters and rememberers and about being a Canadian, Eh!

Feminist? More like a "womanist" - as she puts it, her new CD, "Women of the World" is for all women and men who love women.

Wait a minute....go back...patriotic? Yup. She wrote/released a Special Edition of her Canadiana songs that she performed for the Canadian Olympic team in Salt Lake City in 2002 and in Athens in 2004. Not only that - she sang live from Parliament Hill in Ottawa on CBC -TV's live broadcast on Canada Day 2001.

Twist her arm and she'll tell you that she was honoured in 2002 with a Civic Recognition Award & Citizen of the Year Award in Prince Edward County where her husband and daughter put up with her... uh, that is...where they live.
