Aurora Foxxâs unique improvisational solo piano music draws from her lifelong spiritual journey and oneness with nature. She intuitively tunes into the vibration of a scene such as a beautiful waterfall with an angelic being present or some other nature/spirit phenemena to create uplifting entertainment or to inspire the listener to weave a transcendent soul-level connection. As Aurora plays she aligns with the harmonic source of harmony and sound vibration. where all music is created and originates and, in surrender, allows the passion of the moment to play through her hands. Sometimes she plays with eyes closed, her consciousness choosing to wander away from her body and this planet out into the universe and observing the life of planets whirling through their orbits. Often she is amazed at the sounds that come to her keyboard as she has no script or melody in mind. Her music brings a harmonic that addresses the mental and nerve energy within the body structures and gives the listener the message that all things are in right correctness, that they are loved, and are themselves loveable.
In form her music ranges from fiery classical moods to contemplative inventions. However, sometimes what at first seems classical is followed by a twist of mellow jazz. Altogether, the result is a relaxing and uplifting experince and one that the listener will choose to hear more than once.
Aurora studied classical piano from age seven, primarily with Music Professor, Montana Grinstead, at Indiana University. She continued her classical studies under several teachers until the mid-90âs. In the late 1980âs she began creating improvisation piano and has played professionally at a number of venues in Asheville, NC., including Te Radisson and Holiday Inn hotels
Aurora has had a successful career as a school teacher and principal, founding Stillwater Academy in Indiana. Currently she is working with a alternative health professional in Asheville, NC creating sound healing instruments for allergies and miasms with her music.
