Since 1996, Beverly Meyer has been known to thousands of children, parents and teachers as The Music Lady. It was then that she and husband Marc started The Music Lady Childrenâs Music Programs. Servicing preschool & kindergarten programs in Southeast Michigan, Beverly travels to some 50 classrooms each month with guitar in hand and a song in her heart. Hundreds of other programs throughout the state of Michigan have Beverly returning each year for On-Site Field Trips, Elementary Assemblies and Family Concerts. The summer months find The Music Lady traveling as part of the Summer Reading Program at over 40 libraries as well as many Music In the Park series and Michigan Festivals. Sharing songs with teachers and caregivers is something that Beverly is very passionate about. The idea of sharing her talent with young children stemmed from attending workshops when she was a preschool teacher. For years Beverly provided workshops at countless local and state Early Childhood Education Conferences. In 2000 she started providing Keynote addresses and workshops and has been honored to travel throughout the mid-west to do so! Beverly currently has 4 full-length CD recordings, complete with songbooks for each title as well as a Songbook and CD combination for the classroom called âTransition Tune Upâ. Many more projects are scheduled to follow.
