A native of Cartagena/ Colombia, Carmen immigrated to the United States at the age of two. Although she was raised and educated in the US, she has maintained strong ties to her ethnic roots. Since childhood her comfort zone has been entertainment. She has always been front and center at family and church gatherings--entertainment has always been her driving force. Her exposure to many genres of music and breadth of Latin culture has made her an artist of substance. These diverse music
professionals-- some icons have left an indelible mark on Carmen's musical career. This multicultural richness is very present in her music/presentation.

Her latest musical efforts a CD entitled "Eternally/Eternamente" is best described as a Latin flavored-Neo-Soul/ R& B style. This multicultural richness coupled with Carmen's caressing sound will undoubtedly have a very broad eager audience.

Carmen has been paving her way towards a successful entertainment career since the age of 13.
Sheâs been in high profile groups, such as- Fade to Black and Mimosa (managed by Frank Diaz and Luis Martinee, which also managed the 80s superstar group- EXPOSE) Mimosa released a cd single called Shake Your Body at Specs Music/Coconut Grove. Carmen has performed on Univisionâs top rated shows: Marta Susana, Despierta America, Caliente, Control, Desayuno Alegre and Escandalo TV. She has performed jingles for Univision/Telefutura/Galavision.

Carmen has been careful to establish musical relationships that are conducive to her artistic development and has worked with producers like: Carlos Paez, Comedian/songwriter AJ Alexander (who has worked with Usher), Daniel Betancourt (music writer for such Latin artists as Cristian Castro, through Kike Santander Productions), Tony Mardini (Crescent Moon Studios) and Oscar Llord.

Carmen is also an outstanding athlete and dancer.
She has studied many dance styles including: Jazz, hip hop, tap and ballet. This background gives her a commanding and potent stage presence. She has been in theatre where she enlightened the Gusman Center of Performing Arts audience with all of her talents- adding acting this time to her resume.
Annie, one of the most infamous Broadway musicals, has been her green light for the acting freeway and we are certain that there will be more surprises to come.

In addition to being a Fitness Trainer for I.S.S.A, she has a deep interest in health and fitness and certainly has the body and stamina to prove it. She was nominated âSpotlight Trainer of the Month,â in Protraineronline.com, a prestigious online fitness magazine.
In a word... She is the total package! We are confident that this latest effort with Armaan Music producers: David Armaan and Alex Ledvin constitutes a bold step in her career.
