Free Agent in its current form is a hip-hop band formed circa early 2005. They have created a unique sound that has blended elements of hip-hop, Steely Dan, cheesy old school 80âs, techno, alternative, classic rock, soul, R&B, choral music, and many other styles that are so new they have yet to be officially named. Their debut album dropped in early 2006 and has since rocked the faces off of over 17 people. The album is expected to earn a platinum status by the year 2011.

Free Agent is LehtMoJoe and The Hoax on the mics, with a revolving door of back-up musicians known only as âJokinenâ employed for intense live performances that often times cause large crowds of people to break out into simultaneous pop-locking, although the robot and c-walk are also not uncommon.

LehtMoJoe has been producing music for 8 years, and has been stealing computer software to aid in this endeavor nearly as long. Over the years and many trips to the black market he has built himself quite a studio of state-of-the-art equipment using the welfare money he has managed to hoodwink from the government by adopting 3 crack-babies and pretending to care for them, or the money he steals from the babiesâ momma after she passes out into a drug-induced-coma. Leht likes to shoehorn his name into every song, as well as clips from whatever new internet video is the craze that week âor for that matter was the craze 3 years ago and he canât mannage to let go. In his raps Leht incorporates random knowledge, and not so funny inside jokes, with glimpses of his personal reflection and beliefs in an amalgam of creative chaos. You will also hear a a sound that encompasses a wide array of musical genres and unothordox sound which he claims proves his love for all music, but is actually his way of one-upping you by showing you how more he knows about music than you. He also does this by using words like âamalgamâ.

After his sixteenth punk band broke up, Hoax subsequently started a polka band, a ska band, and a trance band âall which failed miserably. It was on the dance floor at one of Hoaxâs self-proclaimed âfamous warehouse partiesâ where Leht first discovered Hoax. His rapid-fire lyrical style, as well as the hit of X he had just consumed compelled Leht to open his mind and bob his head at the same time. They have been a team for 5 years, putting out such hit albums as âToast Master T and the T Stands for Toastâ and âThe Shine in My Grill Means You Best Watch Where You Frontâ both of which sold dozens of copies. And by dozens I mean 9 and by sold I mean where thrust upon unsuspecting loved ones by Leht while Hoax rummaged through their wallets.

Recently the duo has become very successful and their chemistry has them so synchratic they often urinate simultaneously. By joining Free Agent, Hoax is hoping to bring the world of hip hop to a new level and bring people together through a common bond..... a shared love of music.
