Gabe Heller is a Computer Programmer originally from Cedar Rapids, IA, currently living in Minneapolis, MN. But everybody thinks he's Dave. He finds this mildly annoying, so he wrote a song about it, and learned to play it on the guitar. Then he thought of a lot of other things he finds mildly annoying. This became the album "Everybody Thinks I'm Dave." He was lucky enough to get some other people to play other instruments on it. Gabe is available for gigs, but most often plays around open mics in the twin cities area. At some point in the past he had 20 years of piano lessons, but it's hard to carry a piano around to open mics, and few open mics have good pianos. Gabe is planning a future album on this topic, called "F*ck the Piano Mafia."
