Details:
Look out song-poem and Beatles fans as a batch of fresh songs bring those British Invasion days back into full swing. Gary Murtha has been writing poems/songs since 1962. "Walrus" teams up veteran writer/arranger Gary Murtha with two very special artists. David Fox aka Art Kaufman is a legend in the song-poem adventure while David Dubowski is a new rising star.

"Walrus" is a special hat tip to that little band called the Beatles. While there have been many Beatles tribute albums and records over the years, "Walrus" is the first "song-poem" album. Two of the songs "Liverpool Lads" and Tangerine Days" cover the Beatles career in music. "When John Met Paul" is a foot tapping, catchy song about that special day of 6 July, 1957. "Walrus" and "Strawberry Walrus" take a look at the question of "Who was the Walrus?" "Your Everything" takes a Lennon quote and creates a song around it. The song "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" takes a fresh look at this famous title. This one will have you humming. From start to finish a solid and entertaining lineup of music. There are little ditties/bits to look for as well, like a section of backward recording. So grab that incense, put on those tie-dyes, and find those beads as those groovy days of the 60's and 70's have returned. This is a custom red CD-R disc. with custom color label.

It was a time of happiness, sadness, musical explosion, pain, and love. It was a time of peace and war. It was the days of our youth. It was the time of the Walrus.
