This approach to self-care is a tool that is used successfully to help people toward wellness by reducing stress and anxiety; and improving feelings of burnout, chronic illness, and performance. It can be used by caregivers to work with clients, as well as by human resources to increase employee retention. Gigi facilitates this workshop/retreat for business, organizations and groups.

Gigi works in partnership with Pennsylvania hospitals in Lancaster; York; and Penn State College of Medicine, facilitating classes for the public, medical staff and students. She is a founding partner in a unique grant-funded community program, Partners in Wellness, serving people diagnosed with cancer. Gigi has provided guided imagery services that help people prepare for surgery and stop smoking. She has participated in a hospital-based research study using pre-surgical imagery.
