Glen is from Seattle, Washington. He started playing guitar at the age of 10. He started playing bass at the age of 19. For the last three years Glen has played bass with The Walt Hampton Band. He also plays on the worship team at Bethel Church in Richland, WA. Most of his guitar performances have been for special music at church and a couple of small performances around town.
Although Glen has never tried to sound like anyone but himself, most people who have heard him play say he sounds like Clapton. This is a huge compliment and Glen is honored to be compared with such a rock icon.
His brother is world renowned guitarist Randy Hansen.
He has been happily married for 22 years to his lovely wife, Joy. They have a daughter, Angela, son-in-law, Dan and two grandsons, Jack and Ben.
