Biography:

The name "Gravemist" refers to an unexplained supposedly supernatural mist which rises from graves in cemeteries that have paranormal activity.

The duo has been recording and releasing music since 1999. All of their music to date has been independently released by Graveyard Creep Records.


Fictional Biography:

The "official story" is that the two main characters, Noctis & Demise are actually anachronistic resurrected ghost hunters from a time past. The story below is fictional.

The duo were killed in a car accident on a dark night in 1956. They came back to life in a local Chicago Graveyard and "re-formed" their band under the name "Creepers" at some time during the late 1990s.

In their mythical biography, a fictional former Nazi scientist character named "Dr. Erich Von Reichenstahl" supposedly tainted or poisoned the duo's Absinthe causing the automobile accident in which the two band characters died in 1956, after which they were later resurrected in the late 1990s. (non-fictional note: A scrolling shooter video game was developed about the band in 2007 in which players control a hearse driven by the band to evade and shoot the Reichenstahl character & his fighter planes. Reichenstahl also has a myspace.com profile on which he threatens and berates Gravemist.)
