ROCK: Classic Rock, ROCK: 70's Rock
Details:
Hailstoneâs music is straight up Rock and Roll. Formed in a one-car garage in the small town of Katy Texas, we originally got together as childhood friends to play covers of our favorite bands like Zeppelin and Sabbath. Before long we were working on original material by Floyd Bauler and Halston Luna. Although none of our early works appear on this CD, they formed the foundation for our song writing and arranging processes. Our songs all have an individual sound and each stands on its own as a musical piece. No 2 songs on this CD sound alike. That was our goal and we believe weâve reached it.
Our influences are rock and blues bands from the 60s and 70s, and we think it shows in our original tunes. From the title track, American Child, a song about youth, freedom, and the open road, to The March, a modern day anti-war anthem; each was written and arranged to stir a different emotion and elicit a different feel. We hope we have successfully translated those feelings into our music.
We hope you enjoy listening to our CD as much as we enjoyed making it.
